Welcome to SMK

Sarthak Manav Kushthashram, Jaipur, a voluntary and charitable organisation, is in service of the disabled and detached people affected by leprosy for the last nearly three decades. Presently, the organisation is functioning as a model centre for their treatment and rehabilitation. Besides the leprosy treatment we had also started Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) under the State Government since 2003.

On the rehabilitation side, we have powerlooms as well as handlooms at our Galta Ashram, on which the Ashram inmates produce various textile items, such as Bed Sheets, Cushions, Table Covers, Towels, etc. Besides selling these items in the home markets, we also export these to some European countries like France, Germany, U.K. etc. We sell these items with very little profit, and whatever little profit is earned, is utilized for various programmes for the welfare of leprosy patients and cured leprosy sufferers.
